Local Rules
PENALTY FOR BREACH OF LOCAL RULE:
Stroke play: 2 STROKES
Match play: LOSS OF HOLE
1) DEFINING BOUNDS AND MARGINS (Def. RULE 27)
White stakes or lines. When out of bounds is defined by white lines, the line itself is out of bounds. -

2) IMMOVABLE OBSTRUCTIONS (Def. RULE 24)
All fixed artificial objects on the golf course, including, among others:
• Hole 9 bar terrace
• Flower bed, clock, bridge and bar facilities.
• Artificial paths whether its chips, plastic or other material.
• Concrete drainage lines.
• Bridges, fans and sprinkler heads.
If the ball touches or lies in these areas, and they interfere with the stance or intended swing, a player may drop a ball, without penalty, according to the provisions of Rule 24-2.

3) GROUND UNDER REPAIR (Def. RULE 25)
• Areas defined by blue lines.
• Drainage lines.
• Vehicle tire marks.
If a ball lies in or any part of it touches ground under repair and it interferes with the stance or the intended swing, a player may, without penalty, drop a ball according to the provisions of Rule 24-2.

4) WATER HAZARDS (Def. RULE 26)
• Water hazards: Hole 15 during play of that hole and hole 16 during play of that hole.
• Lateral water hazard: Hole 16 during play of hole 15 and hole 15 during play of hole 16. The hazard at the back of the 11th green. The hazard between holes 18 and 1.
• Water hazard and lateral water hazard: Hole 7 Blue Course.

5) PROTECTION OF YOUNG TREES
Protection of young trees identified by a blue stake or supporting stake – If such a tree interferes with a player’s ball, stance, or the area of his intended swing, the ball MUST be lifted, without penalty, and dropped within a club length from the nearest point of relief, not nearer the hole. A ball may be cleaned when lifted.
BLACK or GREEN stakes and protections featured on some plants ARE AN INTREGRAL PART OF THE COURSE and players may NOT TAKE RELIEF. -

6) EMBEDDED BALL (RULE 25-2 / APP.1-A)
Through the green, a ball that is embedded in its own pitch mark in the ground, may be lifted without penalty, cleaned and dropped as near as possible to where it lay but not nearer the hole .
